Proba-3 Mission to Launch at the End of the Year

EUTELSAT 36D Satellite Successfully Launched

The Airbus-built EUTELSAT 36D telecommunications satellite has successfully launched aboard a Falcon 9 rocket from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. EUTELSAT selected Airbus in March 2021 to build EUTELSAT 36D, a new-generation multi-mission geostationary telecommunications satellite. The satellite is consequently based on the latest generation Eurostar Neo geostationary telecommunications satellite and will provide TV broadcasting (DTH) and government services over Africa, Europe and eastern countries and has a potential lifetime of more than 15 years.

Exotrail Completes In-Orbit Delivery of a Commercial Satellite

Exotrail has announced the successful release in orbit of an 8U satellite by its Spacevan orbital transfer vehicle (OTV), gaining meaningful space heritage with a first “last-mile” in-space delivery. Endurosat manufactured the 8U satellite, named EXO-0, which in turn carried an Airbus Defense and Space payload. German SARah Military Satellites launch into Orbit

OHB System AG has successfully launched two reflector satellites of the SARah reconnaissance system from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California. The SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket lifted off from Launchpad SLC-4E at 14:11 CET and deployed its two passengers in space on schedule after a flight time of 25 minutes. Shortly afterwards, the operators received signals from the two satellites, kicking off the Launch and Early Orbit Phase (LEOP).
