The FireSat Constellation will provide the most comprehensive, high-fidelity data to protect Earth's ecosystems from the escalating threat of wildfires. 

ispace, inc. has announced its cooperation with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) on a lunar mission intended to preserve humanity’s language and cultures on the Moon. At the Information Meeting on Universal Acceptance, held at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris on May 6, 2024, UNESCO announced its mission to transport and safeguard languages and cultural treasures on the lunar surface.

Redwire has won a study contract for Design Reference Mission (DRM) 3 of NASA’s Mars Commercial Services program, which outlines a commercial imagery mission to support lower-cost, higher-frequency missions to the Red Planet. While currently in a study phase, the program will eventually expand into service contracts for products from operational assets.

Virgin Galactic Holdings, Inc. has announced the 'Galactic 07' flight window will open on Saturday, June 8, 2024. This will be the Company’s second spaceflight this year and twelfth to date. The Company will once again convert its spaceship into a suborbital science lab, with VSS Unity carrying an Axiom Space affiliated researcher astronaut who will conduct multiple human-tended experiments.

China has launched its Chang'e 6 mission from the Wenchang Space Launch Center to the far side of the moon. The Chang'e probe will tentatively land in the South Pole-Aitken Basin, with the aim of collecting about two kilograms of lunar samples, including lunar soil and rocks, which it will subsequently try to return back to Earth.

HyImpulse has successfully launched its SR75 rocket from Southern Launch’s Koonibba Test Range in a milestone achievement for commercial launch capabilities in Australia. The SR75 rocket is one of the largest commercially launched rockets in Australian history. The launch crew will subsequently recover the rocket from the Koonibba Test Range for post-flight analysis.
